Turtle Grass, Thalassia testudinum

A quiet powerhouse of the tropical sea, turtle grass forms lush underwater meadows that shelter young fish, stabilize coastlines, improve water quality, and provide essential feeding grounds for sea turtles and other marine wildlife. This limited edition print celebrates the intricate beauty of an ecosystem that often flourishes just beneath the surface, unseen but indispensable. Created with Nick Mayer’s signature blend of scientific accuracy and expressive watercolor, Turtle Grass brings the color, movement and biodiversity of the shallows into your home.

Proceeds from every print help support wildlife conservation, research and education through the Nick Mayer Wildlife Fund, making each piece both a work of art and an investment in healthier oceans.
