Roosterfish, Nematistius pectoralis
One of the oddest gamefish in terms of its anatomy, the Roosterfish gets its name from its rooster comb-like dorsal spines. They are only found from Baja south to the Pacific coast of Central America and are an incredible catch on a fly. Most fishermen who have caught a Roosterfish on a fly from the beach are never the same again. This piece will help preserve that once in a lifetime moment forever.
