Bluefish and Kastmaster Original Watercolor Painting
Bluefish and Kastmaster
This painting was inspired by an amazing day fishing with my whole family from my son to my Dad. We were surf casting off the beach in Jerusalem, RI and the waves were completely filled with bluefish. I have never seen so many blues. My 7 year old son hooked into one and it literally started pulling him into the water, there were two lines in the sand from his feet dragging! I kept a close eye on him and coached him, but he got that chopper in all by himself. It was a banner day I'll never forget and all of the blues were caught on Kastmasters.
Hand-signed original watercolor painting on Arches watercolor paper. Price includes museum-quality framing including UV-blocking glass. The original painting's image is 18" wide x 13" tall and framed size is 24" wide x 19" tall.
My mission as an artist is to inspire an appreciation for and curiosity about nature and its creatures by communicating the aesthetic beauty of this planet’s amazing creatures as they really are.
It is my hope that this appreciation will result in acts of empathy & stewardship towards these incredible creatures portrayed in my paintings.
