Ever since I was a little kid, drawing pictures of fish in my sketchbooks in the 70s & 80s I always dreamt of having one of my paintings in Gray's Sporting Journal.  In my mind it was the pinnacle of a sporting artist's career to be featured in Grays as it was the most prestigious journal of its kind.  The late Al Barnes regularly graced the pages of Grays with his work and he was one of my heroes.  When Wayne Knight, the Art Director for Grays called me on the phone asking if he could feature my painting Snook and Deceiver I nearly flipped my lid!  I can't believe it finally happened.
