Narwhal, Monodon monoceros
The Unicorn of the Sea, the Narwhal is a mysterious and fascinating work of nature found in the Arctic Sea. Their spiral tusk is actually a mutated tooth that protrudes through their upper lip. It is used both as a sensory organ and as a weapon in male to male rivalry during mating season.
