Had an amazing non-stop action trip to Block Island with friends John Ski and Ron Parrow. We had a spur of the moment adventure hopping in Ron's Cessna and taking a short flight from Fishers Island to the Block after hearing the bass bite was on. Capt. John Tondra of Snowfly Charters got us a double on the first cast and the bass and blues didn't stop eating till the sun went down! Capt John had the fish dialed right in getting some sweet producing drifts within yards of the breakers. Half the fun were all the aggressive misses--our jaws all dropped when a 50 lb cow followed Ron's fly to the boat then turned! At the end of the day we lost one fly line, fried one reel, and almost missed the air strip in the dark, but it was all worth it!!
